Listen: Metallica releases ‘Lords Of Summer’ demo studio version

Metallica fans who can’t get enough of their new song, “The Lords Of Summer,” can now own a studio version of it. However, you won’t find it on iTunes or Amazon just yet.

Fans who purchase their entire “Metallica By Request” Bogota, Colombia show from last weekend at will not only receive the live version of the new track, but also a studio version dubbed Garage Demo Version.

Fans also have the option to purchase each live track individually minus the solos, but the “Lords” studio version is only available with the complete concert.

As always with Live Metallica shows, fans have several audio options including mp3, FLAC, Apple Lossless, ALAC-HD and FLAC-HD ranging from $9.95 to $17.95, respectively. All artwork is also available for download for free.

Metallica TV has also posted an audio only video of the track, heard below.

“Lords” made its first internet appearance to the world late last Sunday via a mini YouTube clip.
