Live Nation’s $20 ticket promotion sells 1+ million

The weeklong event sold out on its last day

Live Nation’s $20 “Kickoff to Summer Ticket Promotion” put more than one million tickets into the hands of fans – and officially sold out Tuesday (May 9th). Live Nation began celebrating summer concert season with National Concert Day on May 1st, and the $20 promotion which ran for one week from May 2nd – May 9th.

National Concert Day and the “Kickoff to Summer Ticket Promotion” united artists and fans around their love of live music. $20 tickets were offered for 50+ tours and 1000+ shows at venues across the nation. Although the $20 tickets are gone, fans can still catch shows throughout May, June, July and August as tickets are still available for tours and festivals already announced for this summer.

Live Nation promoted summer tours include Brad Paisley with Dustin Lynch, Chase Bryant and Lindsay Ell, Chicago and The Doobie Brothers, Deep Purple and Alice Cooper with special guest The Edgar Winter Band, Def Leppard with Poison and Tesla, Florida Georgia Line with Nelly and Chris Lane, Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull, Hank Williams Jr and Lynyrd Skynyrd, Korn with Stone Sour, New Kids on the Block with Paula Abdul and Boyz II Men, Queen + Adam Lambert and more.
