Lizzo shares ‘Still Bad (Animal Style)’

The new version and video share a celebratory night

Superstar Lizzo serves up a new version of her single, โ€œStill Bad (Animal Style)โ€ via Nice Life Recording Company/Atlantic Records. Lizzo took to her socials to explain the re-release of her favorite demo version of โ€œStill Bad.โ€ The new video, directed by B.K. Barone, shares a celebratory night with Lizzo in NYC post-Met Gala, wearing her Christian Siriano couture gown. The evening culminates at the legendary gay bar Pieces where she parties with the iconic Shequida Hall and the drag queens of โ€œDrag Wars.โ€

Lizzo recently took center stage for the fourth time on Saturday Night Live, performing a mashup of hits โ€œLove In Real Lifeโ€ and โ€œStill Bad,โ€ in addition to debuting a new unreleased song โ€œDon’t Make Me Love You.โ€ Furthermore, Lizzo put her acting skills to work when she was featured in two hilarious sketches titled โ€œWhite Potusโ€ and โ€œNew Parents.โ€

To celebrate the launch of her new music, the third anniversary of her brand Yitty, and her appearance on SNL, Lizzo made a stop last week in custom Yitty at Late Night With Seth Meyers. In addition, she had an insightful conversation with author, podcaster, and life coach Jay Shetty on โ€œOn Purpose With Jay Shetty.โ€

Everything heralds the arrival of her fifth full-length LP and one of the most anticipated albums of 2025, Love In Real Life.

To celebrate the start of this chapter, Lizzo performed three super intimate fan shows. She graced the stage of The Wiltern in Los Angeles, Irving Plaza in New York City, and First Avenue in Minneapolis. She followed with a surprise appearance at Stagecoach in April.

In February, she ignited social media by teasing โ€œLove In Real Life.โ€ First up, she bid โ€œfarewellโ€ to her Special era in a viral post, followed by the reveal of a flute-soundtracked trailer for โ€œLove In Real Life,โ€ generating hundreds of thousands of views and likes.
