Lorde's 'Green Light' featured in HBO 'Coming Soon' trailer

Lorde’s latest single “Green Light” is featured in HBO’s “Coming Soon” teaser trailer announcing the network’s most anticipated returns and premieres. Opening with a montage of the HBO’s most dramatic moments this past year, the video then descends into a series-by-series rollout of upcoming premiere dates, with “Green Light’s” driving tempo and anthemic chorus getting fans excited for the return of their favorite series like Veep, The Leftovers, Game of Thrones and Curb Your Enthusiasm. “Green Light” is the first single from Lorde’s much-awaited sophomore album Melodrama, due June 16th via LAVA/Republic Records. Her return single immediately launched the GRAMMY Award-winning singer to the top worldwide trending topic on Facebook and Twitter, amassing an incredible two billion impressions on Twitter alone within its first 24 hours.

Making its debut at No.1 on the Billboard and Twitter 140 chart, “Green Light” was the most-added song at radio in its first week across four formats: Top 40, Hot AC, Alternative and Triple A. The track also clinched the top spot on Spotify’s Viral Songs charts both in the US as well as globally upon its debut. Currently climbing up the charts, the single is now in the top 20 on the Top 40 radio and Hot AC radio charts and quickly approaching the top 10 at Alternative radio.

Lorde is set to play a number of high-profile festivals this year including Coachella, Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Glastonbury and Lollapalooza.
