Kiss and Lucky Brand team up for national apparel program
Epic Rights, a full-service global branding, licensing and social media marketing company, has partnered with major retailer Lucky Brand for the development of a national apparel program. The announcement was made by Lisa Streff, Executive Vice President, Global Consumer Products, Epic Rights and Carlos Alberini, CEO, Lucky Brand.
Lucky Brand will create a new line of tops and headwear that feature artists represented by Epic Rights, including legendary rock bands KISS, Journey, Def Leppard, Billy Idol, The Doobie Brothers, Jefferson Airplane and the birthplace of punk, CBGB. The apparel will be sold exclusively at Lucky Brand retail and wholesale locations nationwide and online, spring 2016.
“Lucky Brand has always celebrated the world of music and rock ‘n roll. This is one of our brand pillars and has been an integral part of our heritage for the last 25 years,” said Alberini. “We remain committed to music, and we will always look to expand our scope by working with new artists, studios and companies. In this spirit, we are excited to announce our partnership with Epic Rights, a licensing collaboration that will bring our customers a new wave of branded products from KISS, CBGB, Def Leppard, and many more.”
“Our collaboration with Lucky Brand marries one of the top retailers in the country, who is known for its creative infusion of music, art and free-spirit lifestyle in its apparel, with a roster of Epic Rights’ iconic artists that appeal to multiple generations,” commented Streff. “Together, our two companies have limitless opportunities to deliver an authentic, cool line of shirts and headwear for men and women that capture the spirit of the music.”
