Song is the duo’s second No. 1

Maddie & Tae recently earned RIAA 2x Platinum status on their record-breaking No. 1 smash hit “Die From A Broken Heart.” On hand to help celebrate and present the plaques to Maddie Font and Taylor Kerr were their longtime friends and bandmates Colton Thomas, Jeremy Little, Shane Smith and Dave Lapsley.

It was especially a treat to be able to share this success with the band. “These guys have been on this wild ride with us and they believed in us even when we may have doubted ourselves,” says Tae. “We are a family!”

“Die From A Broken Heart” resonated with audiences immediately, and when it topped the country airplay charts, Maddie & Tae became the first and only female twosome with multiple No. 1s. The exquisite tune was named one of Billboard’s Top 10 Country Songs of 2020 and was a standout track on the pair’s critically acclaimed sophomore album The Way It Feels.

Maddie & Tae recently released “Woman You Got.” Revealing their “imperfections” using humor and charm while still showcasing their often-celebrated signature harmonies, “Woman You Got” is playing now on country radio.

The duo first broke out in 2013 with their brilliant counter to bro-country, the Platinum-selling smash, “Girl In A Country Song,” which took country radio by storm, skyrocketing to the top of the charts and quickly going Platinum. The duo became only the third female duo in 70 years to top the Country Airplay charts, also earning trophies from the Country Music Academy and Radio Disney Music Awards along with multiple ACM, CMA and CMT Award nominations.
