Marshmello launches ‘Jumpstar Vol 1’ compilation with Joytime Collection

The set includes a new Marshello track and songs from seven rising electronic artists

After a decade of unforgettable drops, genre-defining hits, and global chart domination, Marshmello officially kicks off the next era of Joytime Collective with the release of Jumpstart Vol. 1—the label’s first-ever artist compilation, out as part of the larger Marshmello Presents: 10 Years of Joytime campaign.

A bold introduction to the next wave of electronic innovators, Jumpstart Vol. 1 blends familiar energy with fresh perspective. Leading the seven-track collection is a brand-new Marshmello song, “Bassline Flexa,” a high-octane, bass-forward cut pulled from the vault as a thank-you to fans who’ve been there since the beginning.

“Excited to keep the journey of Joytime Collective going and ever more excited to showcase some new talent. I love the diversity of this compilation, and I would tell everyone to keep an eye on everyone here,” Marshmello says.

The rest of the compilation highlights a curated lineup of boundary-pushing talent handpicked by Marshmello. From breakbeat chaos to emotional melodics, Jumpstart Vol. 1 is a future-facing snapshot of where Joytime is headed, courtesy of its founder. The eight-track compilation follows on the heels of its singles, “Easy to Leave” by Lunnari, and Killmatter’s high-octane “Balenciaga Barbie.” Rounding out the compilation are contributions from up-and-coming artists like Ailow, Dimepiece, Holmesick, 4Ura, and Dr. Apollo.

With Jumpstart Vol. 1, Joytime Collective introduces a thoughtfully curated group of emerging artists whose styles reflect the label’s evolving identity, all hand-selected by Marshmello himself. It’s a fitting way to mark ten years, and set the tone for what’s to come.
