Set will be released Nov 20

Matchbox Twenty has announced 20, a vinyl box set that will compile all five of the pop rockers’ studio albums across seven LPs. The sets are numbered in gold foil across the back and will be limited to 5,000 worldwide. It will be released on November 20 with the first 100 copies being signed by the band.

The box includes Yourself and Someone Like You, Mad Season, More Than You Think You Are and North. It also includes a re-imagined version of Exile On Mainstream, called Exile on Mainstream Revisited with 10 bonus and rare tracks. Mad Season, More Than You Think You Are, North, and Exile Revisited will make their vinyl debuts in the box.

The vinyl albums are packaged in a beautifully detailed 24 page 12”x12” booklet with exclusive band photographs, liner notes, and a career retrospective penned by Melinda Newman of Billboard.

Every pre-order includes a chance to win a signed booklet, a Zoom call, an outgoing personalized voicemail greeting from one of the band members, or a chance to win two tickets and a VIP experience to a concert stop on their 2021 trek with The Wallflowers.

Fans can also expect to see their music videos remastered in HD in the coming months.

Formed in Florida, alternative rock band Matchbox Twenty consists of Rob Thomas, Brian Yale, Paul Doucette, and Kyle Cook. The group signed with Atlantic Records in 1995, creating four studio albums including 12x platinum Yourself or Someone Like You and 4x platinum Mad Season. The band’s debut album spawned the hit singles “Push,” “3AM,” “Real World,” “Long Day,” and “Back 2 Good” and continued to spit out hits such as “Bent,” “Unwell,” “If You’re Gone,” “Bright Lights” and “Disease.”

In addition to more than 30 million records sold worldwide, Matchbox Twenty headlined six different tours and has earned many honors, including five Grammy nominations, four American Music Award nods, the 2004 People’s Choice Award for “Favorite Musical Group”, and they were named “Best New Band” in the 1997 Rolling Stone Readers Poll.
