The Mavericks, Nugs partner for full 30th Anniversary Tour shows

Thirty shows from their critically-praised 30th Anniversary Tour are available now

GRAMMY, CMA & ACM winning band The Mavericks have announced a partnership with nugs.net to provide fans with full concert downloads of 30 standout shows from the band’s recent critically-praised 30th Anniversary Tour, and the upcoming August 22nd nugs.tv debut of the first episode of the multi-platinum band’s first-ever Pay-Per View Web Concert Series – The Mavericks Show.

This new partnership brings The Mavericks, the beloved live band that injects Tejano (Tex-Mex) rhythms and energetic eclecticism into a melting pot of country, rock & roll, classic rhythm & blues, and more that literally defines the breadth of Americana music, to the leading online source for live music, alongside more of the industry’s most respected touring artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Phish and many more.

The first 15 audio shows are available for immediate streaming and/or purchase, and ticket availability will begin for The Mavericks Show. The additional 15 concert dates from the 30th Anniversary Tour will become available next Saturday, August 22nd, as the first PPV episode of The Mavericks Show debuts.

The 30th Anniversary Tour kicked off in June 2019 with a Northeast US run featuring a wide and diverse set reflecting the Mavericks’ 30 years in music… July and August saw the introduction of new songs from the band’s forthcoming album The Mavericks Play The Hits in a run of summer shed and festival sets, before the official release of lead single “Swingin’” on August 31st. The Hits parade continued in September, featuring a string of sold out shows at Central US venues, with an October stay in Canada that saw the Mavericks re-visit the catalog of their country heyday for a Northern crowd. The 2019 campaign came to a close around the Nov. 1 release of The Mavericks Play The Hits, with a legendary pair of fall stands in their New York and Texas strongholds where the range and power of their 30 year catalog was on full display.

The Mavericks first-ever Pay-Per-View Web Concert Series – The Mavericks Show is recorded live from the band’s studios in Nashville, The Mavericks Show features 60 multi-faceted minutes of music, art, interviews & more, as hosted by the band and friends in a safely distanced format that all can attend. Episode one celebrates the release of and includes performances from the Mavericks’ highly-anticipated new Spanish album En Español, available August 21st via Mono Mundo Recordings/Thirty Tigers/The Orchard.
