Three day event takes place in Denver
Meow Wolf has announced that the Vortex 2022 lineup will include notable artists like Toro y Moi, 100 gecs, and Bob Moses performing on various stages from August 5-7. Multiple festival offerings have been hinted at, such as food and beverage trucks and immersive art; one secret the art and entertainment company has held onto, however, is the elusive venue where Vortex 2022 will take place.
Vortex 2022 will be held in a new, open-air downtown Denver venue called The Junk Yard. The three-day outdoor festival experience will be the first event held in this new space, which is owned by friends of the family of Live Nation.
The new owners of The Junk Yard saw a great opportunity to transform a scrap metal yard into a multifaceted musical festival site in the heart of the city. The new venue will undergo a dramatic metamorphosis to become another world for Vortex 2022 — a transition that is common for many Meow Wolf events and activations — with two stunning stages, art installations by a roster of mostly local artists (with a few traveling artists), and comfy chill zones.

Duke Dumont, Pabllo Vittar, Channel Tres, Bladee, Dixon, Sad Night Dynamite, Boy Harsher, Neil Frances, Maya Jane Coles and others are on the bill.
Single-day tickets start at $69.50, three-day passes start at $198.75, and VIP tickets start at $129 and include a reserved VIP premium viewing area, private bar, and restrooms. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.
