Line of watches available later this year

Metallica has announced a line of watches with a new partnership with Nixon. The hardcore collection will be available as of November 5th via metallica.com, in stores and at nixon.com.

The Metallica collection includes eight hard rocking models, plus one special limited edition. Models include “…And Justice For All,” “Seek And Destroy,” “Black Album,” “Ride The Lightning,” “Kill ‘Em All,” Pushead, “Hardwired,” “Master of Puppets” and the collectible very limited run of “Sanitarium.” Each watch has its own unique features and runs from $125 to $750.

Nixon, who began in the ’90s in Southern California with the goal of “making stuff a little better” with a line of custom-built watches, have grown to become one of the premiere lifestyle watch companies, working with some of the greatest action sports athletes in history, including Tony Hawk, John John Florence, Leila Hurst and scores of others; as well as with amazing franchises like Star Wars and Disney.

“They are the perfect partner for us… independent and unique, with a focus on creativity and quality,” the group says in a statement, “and we’ve been looking forward to working with them again since our first experience back in 2010 when we teamed up for a series of limited edition rocker watches using old guitar straps and leather jackets from various ‘Tallica members to create watch bands (with proceeds going to the Musicians Assistance Program).”

Metallica promises to expand their partnership with Nixon in 2019, although no other details have been revealed as of press time.
