Metallica is taking its WorldWired Tour to Europe later this year through next Spring. The European leg will tour arenas starting September 4th in Amsterdam, following a rescheduled Copenhagen show on September 2nd. It will run through mid May when they play a pair of shows in Helsinki, Finland on May 9th and 11th.

“Immediately following our run of shows opening the new Royal Arena in Copenhagen last month we promised we would be back to Europe this year… and we will!!” the band writes. “[W]e’ll be covering all corners of the continent from Lisbon to Helsinki, Oslo to Budapest and beyond. Our Norwegian friends Kvelertak have signed on to take this wild ride with us for the duration of the European portion of the tour.”

Every ticket purchased will include a physical or digital copy of the band’s Hardwired…To Self Destruct, just like the North American shows. CID Entertainment will offer three enhanced concert experience options, including premium tickets and amenities ranging from early access to the venue and the ‘Memory Remains’ exhibit of memorabilia to meeting some of the band.

Fan Club pre-sales begin on March 21st, with tickets available to Legacy Members at 9 am GMT/10 am CET followed by all Fifth Members the same day at 10 am GMT/11 am CET. The pre-sale wraps March 22nd at 9 am GMT/10 am CET or sooner if sold out. The public on-sale is Friday, March 24th.

No additional tour dates are being planned at this time for Europe, so please plan accordingly.
