Two epic shows during one unforgettable weekend

Two of the most iconic names in music history are taking over Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for one epic weekend this February. The weekend kicks off on Friday, February 25, 2022 with an unforgettable performance from one of the most influential and successful rock bands in history, Metallica, who will be joined by Greta Van Fleet. Then, one of most popular recording artists and respected entertainers in the world, Billy Joel, will perform at the stadium on Saturday, February 26, 2022.

“It’s been beyond incredible the past few weeks on the road… damn, it feels great to be hanging with the ‘Tallica family again!” Metallica shares. “You’ve got us fully energized and fired up to add more shows to the calendar in 2022, and this one’s been on our list for a while – Las Vegas, Nevada! We’ll be hitting the stage at the new home of the Las Vegas Raiders, Allegiant Stadium, on Friday, February 25, 2022, along with Greta Van Fleet and another special guest still to be announced.”

Metallica presale tickets will be available to Legacy Fan Club members at 9 am PT and General Fan Club members at 11 am PT on Tuesday, October 26th. American Express Card Members can purchase Billy Joel tickets before the general public beginning Tuesday, October 26th at 10 am PT.

Garth Brooks and Guns N Roses are among the Allegiant Stadium headliners since Brooks christened the stadium in July 2021 for a sold out show. Located adjacent to the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, Allegiant Stadium is a global events destination and the newest state-of-the-art entertainment venue in Las Vegas. It’s home of the iconic Raiders and UNLV Football and is a technologically advanced stadium that is fully enclosed and climate-controlled with a capacity of up to 65,000.

Metallica also announces re-rescheduled South American tour dates that will see them perform six headlining shows in Chile, Argentina and Brazil from April through May 2022. Greta Van Fleet will support.

Joel will resume his lengthy Madison Square Residency with rescheduled dates for November 5th, December 20th, January 14th, February 12th, March 24th and April 8th. These will be his 74th-79th shows at the legendary New York City venue.
