Metallica line up weeklong residency on ‘The Late Late Show’

The band will perform each night with a sit down interview on November 17th

Metallica will make a rare late night television appearance and take the stage for one week on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Monday, November 17th through Friday, November 21st (12:37-1:37 am ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The four band members – James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo – will sit down for an interview with Ferguson on Monday, November 17th.

The residency coincides with the tenth anniversary reissue of the band’s film, Some Kind Of Monster, on DVD and, for the first time ever, on Blu-ray and digital on November 24th. Also, on Black Friday, Metallica will release a limited-edition 12-inch vinyl album, Lords of Summer as part of Record Store Day’s Back to Black Friday promotion.

This will be the last time the band appears on the show with Ferguson as host. In April, the Scottish comedian announced he was stepping down. His final show will be sometime in December.
