The song appears on her new album of the same name
Mickey Guyton premieres a powerful new music video for “House on Fire,” the title track of her new album, that illustrates the emotional turbulence that can come with a passionate relationship. The scenes contrast the highs and lows, one second laughing with your partner and the next minute at odds with them. The new visual cuts between scenes of Guyton looking happy, powerful, fragile and raw, showing the world we all hold onto things deep inside even when we look fine on the outside. The video ultimately ends with Guyton choosing herself.
The trailblazing country singer/songwriter previewed the visual on CBS Mornings and made her first-ever appearance on The Breakfast Club. During her interview with Charlamagne tha God, DJ Envy, and Loren LoRosa, she also shed light on her friendship with Cardi B and wanting to collaborate with GloRilla on a country song.
House on Fire marks Guyton’s first new album release in three years. She previously released her acclaimed debut studio album, Remember Her Name, in September 2021 which included standouts such as “Black Like Me,” “What Are You Gonna Tell Her?,” “All American” and many others.
Mickey is on her long-awaited US tour, which kicked off last week in Atlanta, GA, and will make several stops across North America.
