Miley Cyrus cancels shows due to hospitalization

No word if the shows are being rescheduled

Miley Cyrus has been forced to cancel two shows, so far, due hospitalization in Kansas City, MO.

The pop star canceled a stop of her “Bangerz Tour” at the Sprint Center in Kansas City Tuesday night, just an hour before she was set to perform, and tweeted early Wednesday morning that her show at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis set for Wednesday night was also canceled.

Since it was so early in Los Angeles, Cyrus was unable to get a hold of staff to make the announcement.

“Cyrus has been hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics and has been placed on medical rest by her doctors,” a statement from her publicist said. “She will not be able to perform as scheduled.”

Cyrus wants to let fans know that she feels bad for the cancellations.

The 21 year old was also forced to cancel a concert in Charlotte, NC earlier this month when she fell ill with the flu.

No word on if or when any of the shows will be rescheduled. So far, only the Kansas City and St. Louis shows are canceled.
