Miley Cyrus postpones European tour dates as illness returns

Miley Cyrus has postponed two European tour dates set for this weekend as the singer continues to recover from the severe allergic reaction she suffered on April 15th.

The May 2nd date of Cyrus’ Bangerz Tour in Amsterdam has been rescheduled for June 22nd, while the May 4th stop in Antwerp has been rescheduled for June 20th. The May 6th date set for London’s O2 Arena is still going on as planned, at this time.

Cyrus’ rep states her symptoms have returned and her doctor will not permit her to travel. The symptoms of her reaction can last up to nearly a month and Cyrus must remain under doctor’s care at this time.

Cyrus was forced to postpone the final leg of her US dates after being admitted to a Kansas City hospital on April 15th, a few hours before she was set to take the stage at the Sprint Center.

In addition to rescheduling the cancelled and postponed dates, two new stops in Chicago and Pittsburgh were added.

All tickets for all postponed/cancelled US and European shows will be honored on their new dates. Fans unable to attend the new dates need to return to the point of purchase for a full refund.

August 14 – Chicago, IL – United Center
