The trek supports the release of his upcoming third album
Mitchell Tenpenny will launch the Woke Up In A Dream Tour on September 12th in Las Vegas at the Theater at Virgin Hotels. The tour will run through mid-November with The Castellows guesting the first weekend and Dylan Schneider appearing on the remainder of the shows. The tour takes its name from a song on Tenpenny’s forthcoming album The 3rd, available on September 20th via Sony Music Nashville.
Tickets for the tour are on sale on Friday, July 19th.
Tenpenny’s new single, “Not Today,” is available at country radio now. Mitchell said “Not Today,” written with Chris DeStefano, Michael Whitworth and Claire Douglas, “Is about trying to get over a breakup. You know eventually, it’s going to happen. But today you are going to feel it. You are going to eat the pain and remember everything that happened and move on later.”
The 3rd is Tenpenny’s most authentic – and adventurous – album yet. Named after a song that was named after him, “The 3rd” is a testament to his personal growth and artistic evolution. No longer playing games, Tenpenny has crafted an album that resonates with his own experiences and emotions.
