Monks Of Mellonwah ‘Ghost Stories’ leads to great results

Three tracks are all that is needed to declare Monks of Mellonwah’s EP Ghost Stories, rockin’. Nothing but hard charging beats, fast guitars, stellar production, songs that make it hard to sit still. “Sailing Stories” comes right out at you, reminiscence of Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam, only with vocals a bit less roaring but just as passionately belted out.

The opening track “Ghost Stories” begins slow but builds up momentum, concluding with a masterfully done electronic guitar jam that really ends the track on a terrific high note. “Vanity” is very slickly produced single that adds a lot of swagger to this finely-tuned three song EP. Monks of Mellonwah have plenty of rich material in these three songs that can only lead to great results once the LP is finally all said and done.
