Montgomery Gentry returns to the top of the charts with their new album, Here’s To You, which debuted this week at No. 1 on iTunes Country Album Chart, No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Country Album chart, and No. 1 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart. Here’s To You was produced by award-winning producers Noah Gordon and Shannon Houchins and released last week on Average Joes Entertainment.

With three plus years since their last release, the project is proving that it was worth the wait. Rave reviews continue to pour in including nods by NPR’s “All Songs Considered” which included Here’s To You, in its “essential new releases” podcast, and said “it’s very soulful, it’s rooted in southern rock…when you get to the chorus, every single chorus, they just nail it..this is that full-on connected to southern-rock sound…”

Likewise, Rolling Stone Country said the album was “a tried-and-true mix of uptempo party rockers, heartfelt patriotism and small-town nostalgia…”

The Toledo Blade remarked, “It is hard-charging, at times patriotic, and faithful to the Montgomery Gentry sound.”

Sounds Like Nashville also raved, “Here’s To You” is undeniably Montgomery Gentry that fans will undoubtedly love, mixing their signature country sound with tried and true topics that celebrate small towns, unsung heroes and the spirit of America….the album delivers the best of the duo and is perhaps their most diverse album yet.”

The project arrives five months after Gentry’s tragic death on September 8, 2017 from a freak helicopter accident. The duo had finished recording the 12 track project two days before Gentry’s death. Eddie Montgomery has dedicated the album’s title to Gentry and the fans. The group was planning a 20th anniversary celebration in 2018.

Montgomery is touring behind the project with his longtime bandmates sharing Gentry’s parts. Fans will hear their greatest hits, no doubt a bit different from before, mixed with anticipated Here’s To You tracks during the expedition. Montgomery will be headlining many dates and support Alabama on others. The trek continues February 23rd in Indianapolis and wraps September 15th at the Boots and Brews Festival in Ventura, CA.
