Funds raised support WhyHunger

More than 100 drummers and percussionists, along with over 50 additional musicians, have joined forces to create Drum Together – a never-before-heard, drum-focused version of The Beatles’ “Come Together,” all to support WhyHunger. A musical and visual tribute to the power of community and a call to action, creators Brian Resnick and Dom Famularo produced Drum Together to raise funds and awareness for WhyHunger’s work to end hunger in the US and around the globe.

WhyHunger’s Drum Together is the greatest collection of drummers ever performing on one song. It features Ringo Starr, Anton Fig, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith, Danny Seraphine, Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers, Gregg Bissonette, Drumeo’s Jared Falk, Rascal Flatts’ Jim Riley, Kenny Aronoff, Liberty DeVitto, Mark Schulman, Mike Mangini, Jason Aldean’s Rich Redmond, Mike Portnoy, Korn’s Ray Luzier, Steve Gadd, Stewart Copeland, Living Colour’s Will Calhoun and dozens of others.

“We all can agree that no kid should be hungry, and everyone should have access to nutritious food,” Starr says in a statement. “This is a great cause that I’ve supported in the past and a great track — one of my favorite Beatles songs. So when Jim Keltner asked me to join all these other drummers I was happy to. Peace and love.”

Funds raised will support WhyHunger’s work to end global hunger, tackle its root causes and invest in grassroots solutions to advance the human right to nutritious food for all.
