Morgan Wallen sells over 705k tickets for Dangerous Tour

Fifty-four dates were announced with 48 sell outs in record time

Morgan Wallen has sold out 48 of the 54 date The Dangerous Tour with more than 705k tickets sold for the 2022 trek. Limited tickets remain in Orange Beach, AL, Atlanta, GA, Albuquerque, NM, Mountain View, CA and one of the two shows in Los Angeles, CA. The stop in Rogers, AR for August 26, 2022 goes on sale January 28th at 10 am local time.

Due to unprecedented demand, Wallen added more dates at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, Orange Beach, AL’s The Wharf Amphitheater, Atlanta’s Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood, and LA’s Crypto.com Arena. He has now become only the third artist in history to sell out Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN, three times in a year. Beginning at Ford Center in Evansville, IN, on February 3, 2022, the 47-city run wraps its seven-month takeover at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA, on September 25, 2022. The sought-after entertainer will bring special guest Hardy along for the wild ride as direct support, with Larry Fleet also joining on select dates from February through May.

Wallen recently regained his stance in country music since his high profile fallout following a video of him using a racial slur was published by TMZ in early February. He was immediately blacklisted by the industry, but his music surged 500% with the album spending its first ten consecutive weeks atop of the Billboard 200 chart, breaking a 34 year old record. His music has since resurfaced across radio airwaves as his new single, “Sand In My Boots,” is currently rising the country charts.

The tour is named after his critically acclaimed and newly 2X Platinum Dangerous: The Double Album via Big Loud/Republic Records. The much talked-about project is topping-off the year again at No. 1, as Wallen has the first country album since Taylor Swift’s Fearless in 2009 to reign the all-genre Billboard 200 Albums year-end chart. The Billboard Top Country Artist for 2021 also rules No. 1 on five additional year-end country charts including Top Country Artists – Male, Hot Country Songs Artists, Country Streaming Songs Artists, Top Country Albums Artists, and Top Country Albums.

He recently returned to the road with four sold out shows in October. He followed with a sold out a three-night appearance at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY, which tied a record with Garth Brooks. Over 36K tickets were sold in less than 90 minutes for the December 3, 4, and 5 dates. He hosted a crowd of 31k at The Grounds in Mobile, AL, this past Friday (Nov 12th).

Over the summer, Wallen launched the More Than My Hometown Foundation, named after his fourth consecutive No. 1 single. The foundation was formed to help children, adolescents and teenagers find families that can provide warm, loving homes that can rebuild their confidence, self-belief, and to feel forever loved, with a forever family.
