The Crüe will perform shows along the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood
Mötley Crüe is returning to its roots on the Sunset Strip with three Höllywood Takeöver club shows. The World’s Most Notorious Rock Band will play a string of exclusive, intimate club shows at The Roxy, Troubadour, and Whisky A Go Go in October.
Tickets for the Troubadour show on October 7th, Roxy on October 9th, and Whisky A Go Go on October 11th will be available to the public starting on Saturday, September 14th at 10 am local, exclusively at the box offices of each of the three clubs. The tickets will be physical only and not distributed digitally. Sales will be limited to two tickets per person and will be $19.81 each, representing the year the band formed.
In addition, the band announces a pop-up store with exclusive, band-curated merchandise that will open on October 6th at the Rainbow Bar & Grill on the Sunset Strip. It’ll run daily through October 12th from 3 pm until midnight PT.
The band also introduces the Mötley Crüe Giveback Initiative, a philanthropic endeavor that will see the band partner with different non-profit organizations.
In celebration, the Crüe is offering two tickets to the show at West Hollywood’s famous Troubadour on October 7th through Charity Buzz.
This will be followed by a very special auction beginning September 30th featuring one-of-one stage-played collectible instruments played by band members during each of the three Hollywood club shows at the Troubadour, The Roxy, and Whisky a Go Go. Plus, the band will reveal additional surprises throughout October.
Funds raised from this ongoing auction will benefit Covenant House, a non-profit organization supporting young people experiencing homelessness, a cause close to the band. Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, and John 5 have set a fundraising goal of $ 250K to present to Covenant House before the end of this year and are excited to add ultra-rare collectibles to this auction to reach this goal.
Mötley Crüe will release the Cancelled EP on October 4th via Big Machine Label Group. The three-song package includes the top five radio hit “Dogs of War,” the new single, “Fight for Your Right” (a cover of the Beastie Boys classic), and the title track, “Cancelled.”
The group will celebrate the 35th anniversary edition of its seminal Dr. Feelgood on November 22nd with a deluxe box set and limited vinyl reissues. The album stands as the last great rock record of the 1980s, and one of the greatest rock records of all time. The limited edition box set will be available on CD and vinyl featuring a newly remastered version of the original album, rare demos, and live tracks. The box set also features a 24-page replica tour book with never-before-seen and never-before-published live and behind-the-scenes photos, a replica Dr. Feelgood Tour itinerary, poster, patch, backstage pass, live show handbill, press kit, medical envelope, and guitar pick.
In addition to the box set, there will be a deluxe streaming version and six different configurations for vinyl fans: an indie retail exclusive color vinyl, a Walmart-exclusive color vinyl with 3D lenticular cover art, a Target-exclusive Zoetrope vinyl, an Amazon Exclusive Picture Disc Vinyl, an Urban Outfitters Exclusive Color Vinyl, as well as standard black vinyl. The anniversary edition will also be available as Walmart-exclusive CD with 3D lenticular art, as well as a standard CD. All variants feature reimagined cover art showing 35 years of decay.
