Motley Crue, Def Leppard share rescheduled Stadium Tour dates

Four acts had planned to tour in 2020

Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe with Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts have shared the rescheduled 2020 tour dates that will now be held in summer 2021. The 31 date trek now kicks off June 19, 2021 in Nashville and wraps September 12th in San Diego.

“We are excited to share out new dates for The Stadium Tour,” the bands state. “We look forward to seeing you in 2021!”

All tickets will be honored for the new dates. Ticket holders who cannot attend the rescheduled shows will be provided an opportunity to receive a refund from their ticket provider over the next 30 days.

The trek was supposed to kick off June 18th in Jacksonville, FL with five days of rehearsals before being postponed due to COVID-19. In May, the four acts shared they were “weighing all options” and would decide the fate of the trek by June 1st as social distancing restrictions continued, following fan backlash on social media.

Twenty-five stops have sold out while amassing over one million tickets sold to eager fans wanting to see Mötley Crüe return six years after their Cessation of Touring agreement. The band destroyed the contract following a massive surge in new audience after the huge success of their Netflix biopic The Dirt.
