Statues will ship in summer 2018
KnuckleBonz is immortalizing Mötley Crüe with a set of limited edition statues. The Mötley Crüe Rock Iconz set features each member — Nikki Sixx, Mick Mars, Tommy Lee and Vince Neil — as a highly collectible hand painted 8.5″ tall statue. The set represents the Crüe’s Shout At The Devil era.
Only 3,000 of each statue will be made. Each one is numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity on the base of the statue. They are slated to ship this summer and will cost $149 apiece or $596 for the complete set. However, fans who pre-order the set can save 15%, marking them down to $506.
“We love to see our fans getting excited about new figurines and it’s really cool to see a company paying homage to this classic era of the band’s history. The KnuckleBonz are so detailed and true to nature,” Sixx states. “We’re really happy with the way they turned out and hope the fans will have as much fun with them as we had in the process of creating them. It’s exciting for us to be included along-side great company such as Motörhead, Guns N’ Roses and Alice Cooper.”
This is an officially licensed product, created by KnuckleBonz, Inc. Using a team of highly skilled artists, each statue is sculpted and cast in poly-resin and then hand-painted in fine detail. They are created in 1/9 scale.
Other artists KnuckleBonz has offered as statues include Janis Joplin, Kiss, Billy Idol, Guns N Roses, Alice Cooper, Motörhead, Ghost, ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, Rob Zombie, Dave Mustaine and King Diamond.
