Musicians react to death of actor Paul Walker

The actor died in a tragic car accident

The death of The Fast And The Furious actor Paul Walker on Saturday (Nov 30th) at the age of 40 shocked the world, and musicians, along with fans and other celebrities, took to social media late Saturday night to express their love and condolences for the late actor.

Walker, along with an unidentified driver, “passed away in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide” in Valencia, CA on Saturday, November 30th, said a statement released by Universal Studios. The two men died around 3:30 pm PST after the Porsche Walker was a passenger in, hit a tree and caught fire.

An investigation as to what caused the crash is underway, but photos circulating online indicate the car was driving at a high rate of speed.

Walker was working on The Fast and the Furious 7, which is still in production and scheduled to open next summer, at the time of his death, and had also signed on to star in an eighth installment of the franchise. Universal Studios has not announced whether they will suspend or continue production at this time.
