My Morning Jacketโs tenth studio album and first full-length new collection in more than three years, arrives via ATO Records on Friday, March 21st. Produced by triple Grammy Award-winner Brendan OโBrien (Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam), the album includes the ravishing lead single, โTime Waited,โ which has quickly ascended to the top 10 on Billboardโs Adult Alternative Airplay chart while earning the chartโs Gains In Weekly Performance award. My Morning Jacket Is On Tour officially gets underway April 1 stat Chattanooga, Tennessee’s Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Auditorium and then travels into early May. Special guests include Bendigo Fletcher between April 1st and May 2nd, and Grace Cummings from April 8-21.
Before hitting the road, My Morning Jacket will pay tribute to their hometown with Come Home Again: A Celebration of Louisville, a series of special events beginning this weekend with the great honor of being awarded the key to the city by Mayor Craig Greenberg during halftime at Louisville City FCโs home opener on Saturday, March 22nd.
Additional festivities include an album signing on release day, Friday at 2 pm at Guestroom Records. The band has also unveiled a unique collaboration with Official League, Louisville City FC (LouCity), and Racing Louisville FC (Racing Lou) โ an exclusive apparel capsule collection now available at lousoccerstore.com. This partnership blends My Morning Jacketโs signature artistic style with the energy of the cityโs beloved professional soccer clubs.
As part of Come Home Again: A Celebration of Louisville series, My Morning Jacket will also take the stage for a very special five-night residency at Louisville’s historic Louisville Palace on April 25-27 and 29-30, joined by a different special guest each night โ Lacey Guthrie on April 25th, Future Killer on April 26th, The Jesse Lees on April 27th, 10th Street Dre and Maggie Halfman on April 29th, and Bendigo Fletcher on April 30th. The shows will also spotlight Louisvilleโs vibrant arts scene, featuring the bandโs favorite local artists, nonprofits, restaurants, and nature spots.
The second leg of the tour begins August 5th at Bend, Oregon’s Hayden Homes Amphitheater and continues through an August 22 show at Berkeley, California’s famed Greek Theatre. The tour will then resume October 8th at Washington, DCโs The Anthem and then travel through a two-night stand at Atlanta, Georgia’s historic Fox Theatre on October 31st and November 1st. Special guests include Melt from August 5-22, BALTHVS from October 8-31, and Babehoven on November 1st. In addition, My Morning Jacket is set for an array of top-billed festival performances.
My Morning Jacket is excited to continue its long-time partnership with environmental nonprofit Reverb on the tour to build upon previous successes and expand the tour sustainability program, engage fans in the Action Village at each show, and support Reverb’s Music Decarbonization Project to accelerate climate solutions within the music industry.
