TMU was on hand as performers took the stage to bid farewell to the old year and bring in the new
Some 220,000 revelers descended on Music City to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Shaboozey, Keith Urban, and more took the stage before the iconic Music Note Drop to ring in 2025.
The main show happened at Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. But an event this big can’t be contained. The night spread out across town, with performers appearing at venues large and small, showcasing Nashville as the go-to destination for live music. Lainey Wilson performed “4x4xU” and “Watermelon Moonshine” from Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge. Post Malone played his set from Robert’s Western World in the heart of Lower Broadway, Nashville’s honky-tonk district.
The Music Universe was on hand to witness country music’s finest superstars and rising artists perform hits and new music. Keith Urban brought out up-and-comer Alana Springsteen for “Go Home W U.” Kane Brown welcomed his wife Katelyn for a spin of their sexy track, “Body Talk.”
Jelly Roll wowed with his hits, including “Need A Favor.” But his show-stopper for the night was leading the crowd in a stirring rendition of “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” a tribute to the late Toby Keith, who died in February 2024.
The night climaxed with the drop of Nashville’s iconic Music Note and a fireworks display, ringing in 2025. And with several of the performing artists releasing new music or going on tour this year, it’s sure to be a banner one for Music City.
