The country singer shows his patriotism with “Take A Knee…My Ass”

Country singer Neal McCoy has a message to all of the National Anthem protestors… “Take A Knee, My Ass.” The singer recorded the song, written by his friend Dan Roberts, and released it on November 13th via Facebook Live. It has since racked up four million views on YouTube and has been racing up the charts to Top 5 on iTunes and Amazon. The track has garnered national and international attention and McCoy has released it to country radio this week.

McCoy’s song has become a voice for all patriotic Americans who are fed up with those who take a knee during the National Anthem. Fox and Friends’ Sean Hannity tweeted, “This is my new favorite video” and said, “We’ve been enjoying this song for the past two days,” when interviewing McCoy on November 19th.

The country crooner tells Fox News the song is perfect any United States Patriot, stating, “At least with this song, I think it’s something that some people are scared to step up and say something about it, but if you give ’em an opportunity to echo it through you, then they jump right in.”

McCoy’s grandfather and father are veterans of WWI and the Korean War, and from that McCoy has a deep love and respect for the men and women who “gave it all” for our freedom. For the past 700 days and counting, McCoy has recited the Pledge of Allegiance on Facebook Live. Thousands of patriotic Americans from all over the USA join McCoy online to show their love for the singer and the greatest country in the world.
