Acclaimed indie rock band Neutral Milk Hotel, best known for their 1998 magnum opus In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, are reuniting and have (limited) tour dates, according to their website. The band had never officially broken up, but had been on hiatus following the release of Aeroplane. In the years since the band and that album have only grown in stature, with Aeroplane having sold in excess of 300,000 copies.
The band’s lineup will consist of singer and songwriter Jeff Mangum, Scott Spillane, Julian Koster, and Jeremy Barnes.
