Frontman is recovering after falling ill while on tour
Night Ranger has postponed two additional shows while frontman Jack Blades recovers from falling ill while on tour. Last week, Blades was hospitalized due to “heart irregularities,” but is now home recovering after a “successful procedure.” The hospitalization forced the band to postpone three concerts in California, Utah and Nevada which have been rescheduled for October. Earlier today (Thurs, Mar 30th), the band shared that two more performances have been postponed while Blades continues to recover.
“Night Ranger’s upcoming performance at The Wild Horse Pass Resort & Casino in Chandler, AZ on April 14th and Rock from the Heart at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore, MD on April 22nd are both being postponed. After consultation with Jack’s medical team, a few extra weeks recuperation before hitting the stage was advised. Please do not fret, he is in great shape and excited to rock!” the band shares in a statement.
A new date for the Chandler show will be announced soon with all tickets being honored for the rescheduled show. Fans have until May 14th to request a full refund if they’re unable to attend to new date when announced.
Organizers of Rock from the Heart have made the difficult decision to cancel both the Baltimore educational symposium and the inaugural concert. Refunds will be issued for the concert tickets via the point of purchase. Refunds for the Rock from the Heart Aortic Health Symposium will be issued by Rock from the Heart in the next three weeks.
