Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden announce summer co-headlining tour

Nine Inch Nails and Soundgarden have announced a co-headlining North American summer tour with special guest Death Grips. The five week tour kicks off July 19th at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and wraps August 25th at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. member pre-sales begin Monday, March 17th at 12 pm local venue time. membership is free. Nine Inch Nails will wrap their tour supporting their latest album, Hesitation Marks, with Queens of the Stone Age in Australia and New Zealand on March 22nd before headlining several Latin American festivals in March and April. They will then head to Europe in May and perform with Cold Cave before the Soundgarden tour kicks off in July.

NIN fans can visit their website to watch a full 90 minute HD concert, Tension, coming to Blu-ray, DVD and digital this spring.

Soundgarden is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their Superunknown album this year with two deluxe edition reissues including a 2 CD set featuring the remastered album along with a bonus disc consisting of demos, rehearsals, B-sides and more and a 5 CD package featuring the remastered album, additional demos, rehearsals and B-sides with the fifth disc being a Blu-ray Audio 5.1 Surround Sound mix of the album. A 2-LP gatefold of the original 16 vinyl tracks remastered on 200-gram vinyl in a gatefold jacket will also be made available.

Soundgarden has a slew of spring and summer dates set for Latin America and Europe before hitting North America with NIN.
