Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds releases new single

“This Is The Place” appears on forthcoming EP

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will release This Is The Place, a brand new EP of music on September 27th. The title track from the EP is available now on digital streaming sites.

The five track EP features three brand new songs as well as two remixes.

Although completely disparate sonically, the three new tracks each feature soaring female backing vocals and all have a nod to different iterations of psych.

The full EP will be available digitally and on vinyl – including picture disc and colored vinyl versions – on September 27th.

This summer has seen Noel headlining festivals across the UK as well as playing his own large-scale outdoor gigs, including a huge hometown show at Manchester’s Heaton Park. Noel will make an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on August 6th before embarking on his North American tour with Smashing Pumpkins on August 8th. He will re-join U2 on tour in Australia in November.
