Old Dominion’s Brad Tursi to make solo Grand Ole Opry debut

His solo debut tour kicks off this fall

Award-winning artist and songwriter Brad Tursi of multi-platinum-selling band Old Dominion will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on Friday, August 23rd, stepping into the famed circle for the first time since releasing solo music.

“These songs are from my back porch, from my heart – and they’re small things that are a big deal if you recognize and cherish them,” Tursi states. “I’m so excited to be able to play some of them on the Grand Ole Opry stage.”

Tursi released his debut project, Parallel Love, on July 19th. With a voice that’s a little worn, a little warm, he pours out the truth of a man who keeps moving but never forgets those things that define what a good life should be.

To celebrate the release, Tursi will embark on a limited run of solo tour dates, kicking off October 3rd at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta and wrapping on November 7th in Tucson, AZ.

Parallel Love is a collection of songs that were written over the past ten years that are reflective of where the accomplished artist, guitarist, and writer is in the present moment. Created and released with the band’s full support, the project features co-writes with Stephen Wilson Jr., Dan Isbell, Jessi Alexander, and Matt Jenkins. Tursi produced the project with Ben West and Marc Scibilia co-producing select tracks.

In addition to his role with the reigning CMA and ACM Vocal Group of the Year, Tursi has earned multiple CMA Triple Play Awards for writing three No. 1 songs in 12 months, been named AIMP Artist Writer of the Year twice, and co-written hits for Kenny Chesney, Luke Bryan, Tyler Hubbard, Josh Turner, Darius Rucker, and Cole Swindell, among others, with nine No. 1 cuts to his credit.
