Pink cookie with green cream will be available in 2021
Lady Gaga has teamed with Oreo for her own Chromatica–themed cookies. The special limited edition sandwich cookies are inspired the GRAMMY-winning singer/songwriter’s sixth studio album and feature a pink cookie with green filling with Chromatica-inspired etchings designed into the cookie.
The pop star announced the collaboration on social media this week as she opened the first package while lying in bed with her dog Koji.
“This collab is inspired by the world of Chromatica, where kindness rules all things,” states Lady Gaga. “I love these pink cookies with green creme, and hope they brighten your day as much as they do mine!”
“Together with Lady Gaga, we cannot wait to unleash her world of Chromatica on our Oreo cookie and encourage fans to spread musical messages of kindness to create a brighter and more connected country,” shares Oreo Senior Director Justin Parnell in a press release.
No official release date for a full-size has been unveiled yet, but a smaller six-pack version will be available starting in January, while supplies last. Fans are able to sign for the Lady Gaga x Oreo Stan Club to be notified when they’re available. The first 1,000 people received complimentary cookies upon signing up.
The pair have also set a “Sing It With OREO” promotional campaign launching December 15th. Lady Gaga and Oreo want to keep people connected via musical messages of kindness in which they can send uplifting “OREOgrams” to loved ones and enter to win various Lady Gaga prizes and experiences, including a grand prize flyaway concert and meet-and-greet.
