Marking the 21st anniversary of his death, Snapped Notorious: Tupac Shakur will examine the unsolved case from his previous clashes with danger, to his rap rivalries, to the East Coast vs. West Coast feuds and theories that still shadow the case today. The special will feature in-depth interviews with his first manager, Leila Steinberg; friend, Danny Boy; founder of Rap Coalition, Wendy Day; rapper, Charli Baltimore; Music Journalist, Touré; DJ Mister Cee; Music Journalist, Brennan Williams and rapper and Tupac’s close friend, Yo-Yo.

Snapped Notorious is produced by Jupiter Entertainment with Stephen Land, Allison Wallach and Matt Sprouse serving as executive producers and Elaine Kavanagh as co-executive producer.

The special premieres two weeks after the Tupac biopic All Eyez On Me comes to Blu-ray combo pack and DVD via Lionsgate. Directed by Benny Boom and written by Jeremy Haft, Eddie Gonzalez and Steven Bagatourian, the film highlights the hardcore life of the prolific rapper, actor, poet and activist. This gritty narration of the rapper’s rise and fall includes character appearances from ’90s hip hop legends Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Suge Knight, Notorious B.I.G. and more.
