Multi-award-winning Puerto Rican singer-songwriters Ozuna and Pedro Capó have premiered the music video for “Mar Chiquita,” one of the singles that has stood out the most in his fifth record, OzuTochi.

The video clip, directed by Fernando Lugo, was filmed at Mar Chiquita beach and other locations in the Municipality of Manatí, as well as the historic La Perla community in Old San Juan. The fascinating visual tour between both tourist attractions in Puerto Rico is the perfect setting to accompany the narrative of the video within a fun and vibrant environment, where both artists stroll to the beat of tropical sounds fused with native rhythms of the Island. This makes “Mar Chiquita” a perfect theme to dance and enjoy in any festive environment, especially during the upcoming holiday season.

The lyrics composed by both singer-songwriters, tell the story of a young man excited to take his girlfriend on a trip, but not having money, he manages to dazzle her without having to travel outside the Island of Enchantment, Puerto Rico, with a road trip through La Perla and Mar Chiquita. Los Legendarios, Gotay, and Benny Benni collaborated in the production of the song.

After its release last October, OzuTochi has collected more than 350 million audio and video streams on digital music platforms to date.

Among some of the album’s most popular tracks is “Hey Mor” (36 million+ views on YouTube). This song featuring Colombian artist FEID, continues to captivate audiences at an accelerated pace. The single is currently No. 17 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart and this week it’s at No. 1 on Monitor Latino’s Hot Songs chart in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru and Bolivia. This is in addition to the growing popularity of its contagious dance “challenge” on the Tik Tok platform.

On the other hand, “Somos Iguales” with Tokischa reached the No. 1 position on Billboard’s Latin Airplay and Latin Rhythm Airplay charts and to date has accumulated 59 million views on YouTube.

2022 has been another great year for Ozuna. The recipient of two Latin Grammy awards recently received a recognition from Sony Music Latin label for reaching more than 50 billion audio and video streams among his five musical productions: Odisea, Aura, Nibiru, ENOC, and OzuTochi; once again validating his position as one of the most listened to Latin music stars globally.
