Latin stars release first single of 2023

After ending 2022 on a high note with his musical performance at the closing ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, multi-award-winning global Latin music icon Ozuna presents his first release of 2023, “Quien Va A Frontiar,” featuring rising Latin trap star Yovngchimi.

The single, written by both Puerto Rican singer-songwriters, is now available on all digital music platforms and was released simultaneously with its music video, filmed at the Residencial Luis Llorens Torres, in the city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, under the direction of Fernando Lugo. The production of “Quien Va A Frontiar” was in collaboration with Hydro, Bassy, DJ Luian, and Mambo Kingz.

“Quien Va A Frontiar” is an additional proof of Ozuna’s unparalleled talent and versatility, who flows naturally to the rhythm of trap, to form an explosive combination with Yovngchimi, one of the most promising Latin exponents in the Latin urban music genre today. With this new collaboration, the two-time Latin Grammy winner continues to reaffirm his support for the new generation of artists making their way in urban music.

Within his extensive musical catalog, Ozuna has created a solid and diverse repertoire with which he has managed to capture a wide range of audiences in all corners of the world, which is why he has remained among the most listened to Latin artists globally for the past few years. The new song “Quien Va A Frontiar” adds to the list of successful singles and collaborations that the music star, actor and entrepreneur has made throughout his professional career.

2023 promises to be another year with a full agenda for Ozuna, who closed 2022 at No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart for three consecutive weeks with “Arhbo.” He also received 2023 with “Monotonía,” together with Shakira, at the top of the chart, also being his third week at No. 1 on the chart. “Monotonía” also dominates the No. 1 position on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart for the sixth consecutive week.

On the other hand, the single “Hey Mor” in collaboration with Feid, which is part of his fifth solo album OzuTochi, has become one of the favorite dance trends on social networks by Latin urban music fans. Meanwhile, the music video for “Hey Mor” has reached 135+ million views on YouTube. The single is No. 1 on the radio in several Latin American countries and is currently in the Top 20 of Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart.
