Ozzy Osbourne confirmed for in-store ‘Patient Number 9’ album signing

Fingerprints in Long Beach, CA will host the rocker

Ozzy Osbourne has confirmed a special in-store appearance and signing at Fingerprints in Long Beach, CA on Saturday, September 10th to support his new Patient Number 9 album, due September 9th via Epic Records. Attendees will need to pre-order the album through Fingerprints to attend the event. In order to sign as many copies as possible, the Patient Number 9 will be the only item signed. Masks will be required for all attendees and no photos with The Prince of Darkness will be permitted.

Patient Number 9 is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Osbourne’s new album and the first since his critically acclaimed, worldwide, chart-topping 2020 Ordinary Man release. Like its predecessor, the album will include an all-star lineup of featured guest artists, including Jeff Beck, Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready, Zakk Wylde, Tony Iommi, Eric Clapton, Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, Guns N Roses’ Duff McKagan, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme, the late Taylor Hawkins and Jane’s Addiction’s Chris Chaney. Andrew Watt returns as producer.

Last month, a 25-foot inflatable of Osbourne began trekking across the country in support of the album. The inflatable was designed by Todd McFarlane and made its debut at San Diego Comic-Con last month where the real Ozzy made an appearance. The month-long tour will close out in New York City the week of the album’s release with some stops being announced 24 hours in advance.
