Group adds 20 new dates
Pantera, one of the most successful and influential bands in heavy metal history, has announced their long awaited return to the stage. They will be touring North America this summer with Lamb of God as special guests.
One of the most anticipated tours of 2023, this celebration tour includes original members Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown joined by guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante paying homage to the late Abbott Brothers who founded the band in the 1980s. In December 2022, they completed their first shows in over 20 years in Mexico City and South America incredible reviews.
Produced by Live Nation, the 20-city tour kicks off on Tuesday, July 28th in Burgettstown, PA at The Pavilion at Star Lake making stops in Milwaukee, Toronto, Austin, Denver, and more before wrapping up in Bristow, VA on September 15th at Jiffy Lube Live.
Fans can also see Pantera at their recently announced support dates during the North American dates of Metallica’s M72 World Tour in 2023 and 2024 and headlining major rock festivals in 2023 including Inkcarceration, Welcome to Rockville, Rockfest, Rocklahoma and Blue Ridge Rock.
Tickets go on sale starting Friday, January 27th at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets beginning Tuesday, January 24th at 10 am local time through Thursday, January 26th at 10 pm local time through the Citi Entertainment program.
Pantera’s first European shows in 22 years take place June 2-4 at Rock Am Ring in Nürburgring and Rock Im Park in Nürnberg. The two simultaneous rock festivals will also see Machine Gun Kelly, Tenacious D, Evanescence, Yungblud, Papa Roach, NOFX and more perform. They’ve also announced a headlining performance at the Norwegian rock and metal festival Tons of Rock 2023, taking place June 22-24 in Oslo, Norway. Ghost, Gojira, Behemoth, Clutch, Mayhem, and others will also perform throughout the three day event. They will also headline opening night of Finland’s three day Rockfest on June 8th in Hyvinkää and the final night of the 2023 Sweden Rock Festival on June 10th.
