Paul McCartney announces tour, working on new album

No release date has been given for the album

Paul McCartney is busy setting up dates for an world tour this summer, his website reports. McCartney — who last year in 2012 released the acclaimed album Kisses On the Bottom — will begin his Out There! tour on June 22nd by playing in Warsaw, Poland. This will be McCartney’s first show in Poland.

McCartney will also be playing on June 27th in Vienna, Austria. More dates around the world are to be announced in the coming weeks.

In addition to the Out There! tour, McCartney is also working on an as-of-yet-untitled new studio album.

And, of course, it was just a few months ago that McCartney played a new song “Cut Me Some Slack” with the surviving members of Nirvana:
