Two showings will happen in mid-November on the East Coast
Wentworth Gallery will showcase the latest fine art collection from Paul Stanley in November. Items include hand-painted signature Paul Stanley Ibanez guitars, mixed media originals, hand-painted acrylic sculptures, and limited-edition artworks, including pieces on metal. Amidst a creative surge, Stanley has unveiled large-scale abstract expressionist works that have evolved into three dynamic series: the Black Series, World in Chaos, and Joy & Rebellion. These colorful, explosive works are accompanied by new hand-painted guitars, one-of-a-kind acrylic sculptures, and additional metal works. Collectors will also find classic images from Stanley’s previous collections, including his patriotic pieces, the Forever Flowers series, portraits, and more—truly an all-encompassing collection.
These special events with the Stanley will take place at the Wentworth Gallery on November 15th in Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City and the following day, November 16th, at the Wentworth Gallery in The Mall at Short Hills. For a limited number of VIP clients, there is an exclusive opportunity to attend a private Painting with Paul experience, along with a personal tour of Paul’s art studio housed in the inner sanctum of the Kiss warehouse.
“I don’t really have a style other than what connects all of my pieces – which is vibrant color,” Stanley shares. “Because, to me, color is the representation of life. I view my life, on its worst day, as a miracle. I think life is amazing. And I represent it with color.”
In the summer of 2023 Stanley premiered an exclusive exhibit at the esteemed, The Butler Institute of American Art. “The Other Side” special collection featured sixteen one-of-a-kind pieces encompassing new acrylic paintings and mixed media originals. Stanley was honored to be exhibited at such a prestigious institution, “For me, it takes my breath away. (The Butler Institute) is a terrific museum. And the first that really championed American artists.” The show was well attended and received glowing reviews.
Stanley designed and created the iconic Kiss emblem which remains universally recognized as one of the greatest logos of the 20th century. His artistic and visual input has been and continues to be seen in his designs of Kiss album covers, performance stages and apparel.
Stanley returned to his passion for painting ten years ago by creating portraits and abstracts that are emotionally charged compositions. His tremendous success with his artwork has led to an entirely new fan and media presence for the accomplished Musician, Actor and Artist. He maximizes the direct and powerful impact of his paintings through scale, texture, color and simplicity of imagery.
Stanley’s works have been praised by well-known and distinguished art concerns and acquired by fans, celebrities and art collectors worldwide. Stanley’s works have been coveted by collectors as evidenced by consecutive sell-out art shows with total sales in the tens of millions. Additionally, the Artist has been commissioned to create numerous large works that are on exhibition globally.
