Pearl Jam announces ‘Lightning Bolt’ for release this fall

Pearl Jam will release their much-anticipated tenth studio album, Lightning Bolt, on Monkeywrench Records/Republic Records on October 15th in the U.S. Internationally, the album will be released on October 14th and distributed by Universal Music Group International. Produced by Brendan O’Brien, Lightning Bolt marks Pearl Jam’s first studio album since the highly acclaimed Backspacer, which was released nearly four years ago in September of 2009.

The new 12 track album will be available on CD, 180-gram vinyl and digital formats. If you pre-order through the band’s website, you’ll get to download their new single “Mind Your Manners” immediately. Each physical copy includes a digital version that will be available in your pearljam.com account on release date. Digital formats that will be available are MP3, FLAC, Apple Lossless and WAV. The CD and vinyl will be shipped to arrive on release date, as well.

No track listing has been revealed.

Earlier this week, Pearl Jam announced a 24 date North American tour to coincide with the album’s release date.
