The collaboration with Rad Beer Co will be unveiled at Punk in the Park San Diego
Southern California craft beer specialists Rad Beer Co. has teamed with iconic West Coast punk purveyors Pennywise to release Pennywise West Coast Pale Ale, a limited collaboration beer, in connection with the band’s upcoming performance at Punk In The Park San Diego on November 16th at Thrive Park at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, California.
Pennywise West Coast Pale Ale combines the big, bold flavor that has become the signature of Rad Beer’s ales, with the crushability of festival beer. Brewed with premium pilsner malts and a touch of wheat malt, and featuring a hop blend of Mosaic, Idaho 7 and Cyro Pop, Pennywise West Coast Pale Ale boasts tropical and citrus notes to ensure one hell of a can.
Pennywise West Coast Pale Ale will be available throughout Southern California for a limited time and onsite at Punk In The Park San Diego.
Pennywise West Coast Pale Ale is the latest release in the Rad Beer Co. artist series which brings together the worlds of beer and music through the limited release of specialty brews complete with one-off can art designs. The first release of the series was the successful NOFX IPA, which paid tribute to the band’s final shows of their more than forty-year career with a “So Long and Thanks for All the Brews” tagline – a nod to the seventh NOFX album, So Long and Thanks for All the Shoes.
During Punk In The Park San Diego, fans 21 and older will have the opportunity to sample Pennywise West Coast Pale Ale, along with dozens more craft beers, hard ciders and hard seltzers from noon until 3 pm. Pennywise West Coast Pale Ale will also be available in a can to purchase.
The day-long punk rock and craft beer tasting event will feature incredible bands spanning the punk rock genre, including headliners The Offspring and Pennywise, along with Streetlight Manifesto, Face To Face, Manic Hispanic, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Buck-O-Nine, Slaughterhouse and Winterhaven.
