Pentatonix announces exclusive Westfield Mall virtual reality holiday event

Pop super group Pentatonix announces exclusive Westfield Mall holiday event (* locations below) with Samsung Gear VR for their first-ever virtual reality demo all day on Cyber Monday, November 30th. To get into the holiday spirit, Pentatonix will virtually perform “Hark! The Harold Angels Sing!” from their platinum selling holiday album, That’s Christmas To Me. This exclusive virtual reality performance places fans on a private balcony with Pentatonix where they have a full 360 degree view. Pentatonix emerges from the holiday themed set singing directly to the viewer. Fans will feel as if they are being personally sung to by Pentatonix! The experience also offers select commentary by Pentatonix including why Pentatonix love singing during the holidays.

Fresh off their stunning tribute to Star Wars on the 2015 American Music Awards this past Sunday, pop super group Pentatonix has three titles on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart with Pentatonix, That’s Christmas To Me and PTXMas. Additionally the group’s holiday album, That’s Christmas To Me is currently #1 on Billboard’s Holiday Album chart with more than 28,000 units sold and more than doubling the #2 position. Pentatonix is continuing their US promo with performances confirmed at It’s Your 50th Christmas Charlie Brown, Christmas In Rockefeller Center and CMA Country Christmas.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2011, Platinum selling recording artists Pentatonix have sold more than 2.2 million albums in the U.S. alone, won a Grammy Award, sold out venues worldwide, have amassed over 1.2 billion views on their YouTube channel with over 9.4 million subscribers and appeared in the feature film Pitch Perfect 2. Their latest release, Pentatonix debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and Current Albums Chart. The first single, “Can’t Sleep Love” is rising up the charts and has over 11 million views on YouTube. The group also just released an enhanced deluxe version of their platinum selling holiday album, That’s Christmas To Me.

All seven of their releases have peaked within the Top 5 on Billboard’s Digital Albums Chart with six of those releases reaching the Top 10 or higher on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart.
