Pete Yorn announces ‘ArrangingTime’ album, 2016 North American tour

Pete Yorn announces dates for his 2016 North American headline tour. He returns to the road March 15th at Irving Plaza in New York, NY, plays major markets across the U.S., and performs at Coachella Sunday, April 17th and Sunday, April 24th. The tour kicks off days after the Los Angeles singer and songwriter releases his sixth full-length studio album, ArrangingTime, on Friday March 11th.

ArrangingTime is available for pre-order on iTunes and CD and LP. Deluxe bundles may be pre-ordered directly from These special packages grant pre-sale access to tickets for the Los Angeles-based singer and songwriter’s upcoming tour. The ticket pre-sale begins January 20th and the general ticket sale will begin on Friday, January 22nd at 10 am local time through Facebook.

Yorn recently debuted the music video for “Lost Weekend.” Paste Magazine featured the clip and said, “The album’s first single, makes pretty direct reference to that bleakness, but it’s also got a paradoxically serene tone.” Creative Loafing Tampa wrote, “Welcome back, Pete.” Meanwhile, Mxdwn claimed, “If the first two tracks are any indication, the album features a healthy of mix of analog instruments and modern production techniques, resulting in a refined yet raw folk-rock sound.”

Yorn’s path has carried him to ArrangingTime. Reflecting on the past while forging into the future, he re-teamed with producer R. Walt Vincent who helmed the boards for 2001’s gold-selling musicforthemorningafter and its 2003 follow-up Day I Forgot. This new body of work serves as a home to some of the vocalist’s most dynamic characters populating a musical landscape of delicate folk, ethereal blues, and vibrant pop-punctuated rock ‘n’ roll.
