Pharrell Williams auctioning Vivienne Westwood ‘Mountain’ hat for charity

Hip hop artist Pharrell Williams is auctioning the Vivenne Westwood “Mountain” hat that he wore during the 2014 Grammy Awards for charity. The hat was one of the most talked about moments of Music’s Biggest Night and can be yours, if the price is right.

The singer has teamed up with eBay to auction the item to pre-approved buyers. All proceeds will benefit the singer’s educational, non-profit organization, From One Hand to Another.

“I’m giving up the Buffalo Hat I wore to the GRAMMYs to help underserved kids get the educational tools they need,” Pharrell said in a statement. “Our organization, From One Hand to Another, is committed to bringing kids experiences that ignite their passions, challenge their minds and prepare them for success.”

The auction went live on Thursday, February 20th and runs through Sunday, March 2nd with 65 bidders totaling $11,600 as of 4 pm PT Friday afternoon, February 21st.

The hat comes with a Letter of Authenticity and bidders are required to pay within three days of the close of auction.
