Phish announces four-night run at Sphere in Las Vegas

The band will play in April 2024

Phish has announced four performances at the world’s most cutting-edge venue, Sphere, in Las Vegas on April 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2024. As Phish fans well know, in their 40 years of being a band, Phish has never played the same show twice. Each of Phish’s shows at Sphere will feature unique setlists and visuals, making every show a truly once-in-a-lifetime audio-visual experience. These shows mark the beginning of a new relationship between Phish and Sphere, but they will be the only shows Phish will perform at the venue in 2024.

“From the moment we first heard about Sphere and its potential, we’ve been dreaming up ways to bring our show to this breathtaking canvas,” states Trey Anastasio, Phish guitarist and vocalist. “We’re thrilled to present this completely unique experience to Phish fans.”

The ticket request period is now underway at tickets.phish.com and will continue through 9 am PT on Monday, December 11th. All remaining tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, December 15th at 10 am PT. In addition, travel packages will go on sale Friday, December 1st at 10 am PT, exclusively via phishatsphere.100xhospitality.com.

In addition to the four-night run at Sphere in Las Vegas, 2024 will see Phish hosting its first curated festival in nearly a decade, set for August 15-18, 2024 at The Woodlands in Dover, Deleware.

Phish is only the second band to perform at the world-famous venue. U2 opened Sphere in September 2023 with their highly-anticipated U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere. Dates are scheduled through February with the band providing fans with a fully immersive experience featuring top-of-the-line technology, celebrating the band’s acclaimed 1991 album Achtung Baby, as well as its accompanying industry-defining Zoo TV Tour which broke the mold in 1991.

The groundbreaking Sphere features next-generation Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by HoloPlot, which provides crystal-clear, individualized sound to every seat in Sphere, giving fans the same mix no matter where they sit or stand. The system consists of approximately 1,600 permanently installed and 300 mobile HoloPlot X1 Matrix Array loudspeaker modules and includes a total of 167,000 individually amplified loudspeaker drivers.

The venue contains 160,000 square feet of LEDs, which equate to four football fields, marking a cutting-edge immersive experience. The world’s largest spherical venue contains a 580,000 square foot fully-programmable LED exterior, containing 1.2 million LED pucks, spaced eight inches apart. Each puck contains 48 individual LED diodes, with each diode capable of displaying 256 million different colors – creating a vivid new landmark on the Las Vegas skyline.
