We cover the second weekend of NFR in Las Vegas

We wrap a huge year with coverage from the second week of National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in Las Vegas. This year, we saw concerts by Tracy Lawrence (read our review), Aaron Tippin (read our review), Miranda Lambert (read our review) and Cody Johnson (read our review). We had planned to see Aerosmith, but the remaining four shows were canceled due to frontman Steven Tyler being sick.

While in town, we chatted with Tippin before his show at the Golden Nugget, and attended a VIP event for current Aerosmith drummer John Douglas who has an art exhibit at Animazing Gallery at the Palazzo. We show you his artwork and also chat with Douglas himself and Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford, ZZ Top frontman Billy Gibbons, Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood and others.

Our weeklong adventure also included riding the Vegas Loop for the first time, a brief tour of Cowboy Christmas at the Las Vegas Convention Center and an interview with Greeley Hat Works owner Trent Johnson who designed the cowboy hats for the characters on the hit TV show, Yellowstone.
