The new single debuts at No. 15 on the country charts
Post Malone and Morgan Wallen are making history with their new single โI Had Some Help.โ
The song earned 167 first-week adds on country radio, becoming only the second single in chart history to debut with the support of all reporting stations. The first time was 27 years ago when Garth Brooks’ released “Long Neck Bottle” in 1997. The single also opens at No. 15 on the Mediabase chart, the second-highest debut of the monitored era only behind Brooks’ โMore Than A Memoryโ in 2007.
โI Had Some Helpโ broke Spotify’s single-day country streaming record with nearly 14 million streams on Friday, May 10th. The song debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Daily chart and became the streamer’s No. 1 male collaboration debut of all time. โI Had Some Helpโ also topped Apple Music’s Global chart and was No. 1 on Pandora’s Top Thumbed chart upon release.
The single, which will be featured on Maloneโs first-ever full-length country album this year, comes on the heels of Malone and Wallenโs landmark sets at Stagecoach 2024 in Indio, California last month where Malone performed his first-ever Stagecoach set with a lineup of country covers and welcomed superstar guests Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, and Dwight Yoakam during the standout performance. The next night, Malone joined Wallen on stage for the live debut of โI Had Some Helpโ in front of the sold-out crowd.
